Slip-N-Slide Records Artist Teenear Calls For Us All To Be “Free” In New Single

Teenear Free Cover Art.jpg

Slip-n-Slide Records artist Teenear responds to the current protest movements with a song that fearlessly echos the sentiments of those fighting on the ground, on social media, and around the world. "Free" is a battle cry for basic rights and freedoms. An anthem that provides inspiration and motivation to those experiencing the daily struggles and effects of racial injustice. Originally recorded for a later release, the energy of the movement pushed up the song’s release date because of how much it resonated with what’s happening today. Teenear’s hope is that those who hear it feel empowered to continue speaking out:

"I hope this song serves an uplifting anthem to all who listen. We won’t be silent anymore!"

“Free” is currently available on all DSPs.

Teenear Bio
Hailing from Miami, Florida, by way of Jamaica, singer-songwriter Teenear, is already laying the groundwork for a career that bucks the status quo. Inspired by artists ranging from Rihanna to SZA, Kiana Lede, and more, her genre-bending offerings run the gamut from future-pop to experimental R&B and soul. Not only that, but they’ve also already caught the ear of collaborators like Sage the Gemini, Lil Baby, Fetty Wap, and her label mate rap veteran Trina, who was featured on the singer’s dancehall-inspired “Streetlights” remix in 2016. Next up, Teenear is set to release her debut EP, which will explore themes of love and relationships with a fresh, more adult set of eyes.
